Lamoille River Fishing Access Makeover Pics

Post by Grampydg (Dick) »

Fish and Wildlife have done another great job with a makeover of the Lamoille River fishing access. New dock and improved parking area and handicap parking with easy access to the dock by wheelchair. Photos included

I'm curious as to whether they are intended to be permanent or will they remove them for the winter. I can't imagine that they would survive the spring " Ice out " considering the volume of water and ice moving downstream. Same for the new docks at Shelburne bay.

Hey Rich,
By any chance is the boat in your picture a Fisher boat?

Michael,

The boat in the photo is a 1984 Starcraft 17' with 75 Merc 2 cycle and a live well. May be an ealrly version bass boat. Has 2 down riggers one canon mini electric and one "custom" made by yours truly. Bought it late summer. Put in a Lowrance Elite 4 and still learning the ropes about it and also the boat. Been having a good time even tho I'm a newbie. Catching a few in the medium size range, Pike, Bass, Pan Fish, and lately tried Converse Bay and went home with a Laker and couple of Salmon. Been out solo mostly except when my grandson (only 8 and gets bored quick) can go and sometimes his dad. Looks like decent weather coming up at the end of the week. Hope to get out then. If anyone needs a deck hand or wants a ride give a shout. grampydg@gmail.com
