Spring water conditions

Post by flyguy »

We trolled most of the usual spots in the Inland Sea Monday (except for Keeler Bay area-too busy there. While we did, indeed, get skunked, it was great to back out on the water. The reason I'm posting is that we encountered an appreciable number of floating/half submerged logs and branches. The wind was calm, so we had no problem avoiding them all, but it occurred to me that, with some chop, that sort of thing could be easily overlooked. Just a reminder that, especially this time of year, vigilance while piloting a boat is paramount.

A very good post flyguy, believe this a great showing of how good a tool LCU can be within the fishing community. Reminders like that are great little refreshers to keep us on our toes out there. You know what they say about a day spent on the water ( fish or not)..........
