A little skinny but should catch fish. In LC, little is more on flies - in my experience.

What do you folks use as a set up when trolling with flies? I have very limited experience with them, but there is a local lake by me that produces nice browns and bows, and from the sounds flies are the ticket trolled.

Those are stickons. But I use dumbell sometimes and they stay on better obviously since their tied on. The stickons are available in highly reflective material. I use the uv glue to build up behind the stick on. However, they usually come off after a few fish.

Ken I use the UV head cement over the stick on eyes and keeps them there.

I use a #00 dodger with the fly about 12" back. Otherwise everything like a spoon.

I'm sometimes rough on the fly trying to remove the hook quickly, especially if I putting them back.

I really like the uv head cement. It is much easier to use and looks much cleaner.

Typically with a small dodger, 000 size. The small echip dodger works fine too. Run a short leader between the dodger and fly of 12 to 18 inches. I like 15lb fluorocarbon for the leader material. Running them clean works fine too, especially if placed right behind the boat in the prop wash. This can be a productive tactic when fish are high in the water column.

I've tried the stick-on eyes and they usually come off after catching a couple of fish. I'll have to try cementing over them. Using uv cement sounds good too.
