Hi everyone,
Relatively new to fishing lake Champlain. I’ve fished the lake once this year around Cumberland bay pretty successfully. I was wondering are there any laker spots on their Vermont only side of the lake? Haven’t seen much about it and was curious.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Re: Lake trout Vermont side
If by "Vermont Only" areas you mean areas that can only be fished with a VT license, then I would say no. The inland sea has a few, but they are few and very far between. If you mean the VT side of the lake, there are lots of good areas. One of my favorites is around Colchester Point. Launch from the Winooski River if the lake level allows it, or from Malletts Bay and make the run out through the Cut. Around the islands outside of Malletts Bay can be very good, as well (Providence and Stave).
Good luck!
