Watching the Weather for the 1st
Sunday is looking like a "mild" day. I'm crossing my fingers for "light" winds. We'll be launching from Converse if things go our way.
Hopefully the launch will be free of ice. I need to pack my ice chisel. Should I be posting this on the ice fishing forum?
I'll a so need to park the boat in our shop overnight to thaw her out.

For heaven sake keep posting. It is a selfless act that keeps others hopefull and in the know. I as others will keep going out until the ramps and bays freeze in. I was all set to go out in the am but I can't find a rider.

But it is a selfish act since I hope others will be out there too to provide fishing updates and to be around Ifthings go wrong.
btw - we had engine problems last week on that perfect weather day. Fortunately there's only about one thing you can do, squeeze the bulb on the fuel line and turn it over to see if it starts. That revealed a split in the fuel line at the brass nipple coming off the tank. A quick fix with a screw driver and knife - the only tools I have on board. We were back to trolling in about 3 minutes.

Yeah...I bet if you used the "Share A Ride" section, you'd fill your boat with fisherman!Reelax wrote:

We've moved the schedule. Going out of Converse in the morning. The wind should be lighter than Sunday.

Just plugged the boat in to charge the battery. Plan on heading out mid AM. Anyone else fishing? If so where. Strength in numbers!
