Windy Day Tuesday 12-6

[Crazy Ivan]

Hit the water at 0-dark 100. Launched out of Converse in the dark and made my way over to Split Rock. A very stiff North / North West wind and 4 foot waves made me quickly head back to the Vermont Side. Set up two Top water rigs with Mini Dipsy Divers and some Blue and silver spoons. Managed 10 small slivers (17") before 8:30 in the calm water tight to the south side of Garden Island.
Picked up Digitroll (Ron Winter) at the ramp alittle before nine and headed back to Garden Island. Only Picked up Three more Salmon.
Off the water by Noon.

My first time aboard the Crazy Ivan. It handled the waves no problem with the main engine for propulsion. A day like today fishing in the whities it was nice to have a big prop and main engine to guide the boat with precision control. My 00 Jensen chrome dodger (Tamiron custom taped) with my greasy chicken wing Silver Streak lure with 36" leader went untouched for 3 hours off the rigger for my experimental presentation, but it sure was fun being a guest of Todd's on his boat.
