Hey WFW - Kudos to you as outstanding and generous grillmaster! Good eats! As for your "hoopy blingy looking girlie thing," are you sure that Raz didn't put a Siwash on it before trolling home?!!WildFisherWoman wrote:... a hoopy blingy looking girlie thing.... Thanks Randy what a great event! Congrats to Sea Bill and all the other winners and the boats they were on! The food was awesome especially that canadian corned beef tasting concoction. It was great seeing forum members again and meeting new ones. I was very impressed on how the winners found the fish over 20" after so many of us have been scouting before the shoot out and doubted a 20 incher would even be possible. Now thats Fishing and knowing our lake! Great Job!

Salmoneye took a bunch of great pics! Thanks Paul.
With his permission, I took some of them and put them up as a slide show.
Click here and they should pop right up! https://picasaweb.google.com/fishh8me/S ... oNG1vZ-PZg
Click on slideshow, upper left corner.
We need to have Salmoneye as an official photographer!!

Re: Salmon Shootout 2011 in the box
I wasn't able to participate this year but I have read the posts and enjoyed the pics. I haven't heard anything about the magic lure that Sea Bill caught the winning fish on.. Anyone know ?? or is it classified info..

Thanks a lot Randy for organizing such a remarkable event.
I brought my 2 sons along and they both had a wonderful time on and off the water.
We really enjoyed our weekend in Vermont. We arrived Friday evening and stayed until Sunday PM.
It was great to meet so many forum members and put a face on those names.
The people were very friendly, the food was awsome, and the weather perfect.
Congratulations to the winners.
We did our best by catching 3 salmons about 14-15', 6 lakers, and 3 ciscos. They were all gently released to grow bigger.

Another lonely Cougar looking for fresh meat? must have been the smell of meat cooking that attracted her. where there is a grill there is usually a man near by!
