Finally after many years of discussion the construction of the lamprey barrier on the Morpion stream has begun.
The Morpion is one of the major tributary for lamprey spawning.

Killing the lamprey by any method is a victory for the lake basin. I hope that the powers that be will continue to treat them. It's nice to see a group effort. As long as there is one lamprey, there are too many.

Need to find a way to export them to the orient, there they are a farmed food source?
