Lake Champlain offers amazing angling opportunities thanks to ongoing management strategies. Vermont Public Television invites viewers to screen and discuss two “Outdoor Journal” stories that focus on muskie restoration efforts and the sea lamprey control program.
“Muskie and Lamprey: Fisheries Management in Vermont” will take place on VPT.org on Monday, July 29, from 12 to 12:30 p.m. The link to enter the discussion is http://bit.ly/15dmyzw
Fisheries biologists Bradley Young of U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Shawn Good of the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department and James Ehlers, executive director of Lake Champlain International, will be on hand to discuss past and current efforts to keep Vermont’s aquatic environments healthy.
VPT’s online engagement platform, OVEE, allows viewers to discuss the film via chat during the screening.
