I've seen people come from that launch, but really it's only beneficial for certain individuals that live closer to that launch and only want to fish say the upper half of the Winooski. Some guys will just fish the whole river, then it really doesn't matter where they launch. Really surprised I didn't see any wardens in boats while I was on the river. Aren't they usually out on the Lamoille/Winooski during opening weekend?....especially near the closed part on the Winooski? I wonder if they can issue citations if they're given video of certain boats/and or individuals fishing closed waters or fishing illegally?mrwalleye wrote:Not much they can do unless they catch them fishing. There is a small private boat launch at the mouth of the salmon hole that a half dozen or so, people are allowed to use. I loved it when I used it to fish it with my smaller boat. It turns a 1.5 hr ride into a 15 min ride.tuckhunts87 wrote:shoulda called the game wardens.
