Found some salmon up North!

Caught 2 keeper salmon and a big pike after I decided to take off work a few hrs early. Had the 2 salmon on at the same time - one on leadcore with 1 1/2 colors and one hit cheater on downrigger with lower line at 18’. Was in 70’ of water turning back to shallower when pike hit same cheater so that was strange. All 3 from 3:50pm - 4:10pm. Surface water temp was warmer in deeper water, about 54 degrees in 60-70 FOW and 51-52 degrees in 20-35 FOW. Both salmon clean of lampreys and no prior hits. Restored my faith in the outer bay!

We’re is up north? We tried between apple tree point and colchester shoal. Did good on lake trout. We’re thinking of trying around scaler reef tomorrow.
