What a weekend! No shortage of fish and varieties. Only one missing was a steelhead. Worked the areas with a bunch of friends, fun to have a group of boats your know. Fished the I.S all weekend. Friday started decent with a couple nice 3lbs right off lost a big one. Landed one just under the 3 mark, it was tagged. Knowing it wouldn’t do anything I still put it on the derby scale, released to be caught again. Pretty cool to get my first tagged one. Afternoon we went out to broad lake to find a laker for team points. caught one headed home for the day. Yes I forgot the picture. It was only 6ish pounds. Saturday was non stop 18-20”ers great action and fighting. Fat healthy not a mark on them. Got off 15 minutes before the storm hit. Those 1.5-2 footers went to 4‘+ fast. Sunday slower, north wind drop the temp quite a bit. Worked norther part for a while And then rode the wind south picked up a few salmon and couple browns. Ran a lot of the “older” colors, they seem to be doing good this year.
