Broad Lake 2012

First real day without wind for us....5th trip of the year. We fished from 12:30 to 6:30pm. We landed 11 lakers with the largest being 28.5". There were 4 fish measured in at 28". The best lure was CI cop car followed by Glow green MI stinger. We tried to stay in 40-60 FOW at a speed of 1.9 to 2.2 at the ball. This is the April fishing we have done in over 22 years.

You sure have that Cop Car dialed in, didn't you catch that nice salmon on it last year too.

Yes, we do very well with cop car. We had 2 straighten out the hooks on the lead core
riggers. It is our first lure out on most days. We will be pick up more in a couple of days.

Great report and picks, Wish I could have been out there to not a ripple on the pond, not even from your motor! Are sure that was the mighty LC, That must be a differant lake, I havent seen LC like that in a long time!
