Good job whacking the ponds with Wayne this Spring, you guys have caught some nice ones! Think I may do the same next weekend now that the water levels are receding in most places. As for this weekend, Im headed down to Maryland for my second bass tournament of the season. Despite the bad weather forecast, I hope I can catch more than one weighable fish this time!

5/12/2017 bushwhacked in a trout pond this morning with clear skies and 37 degrees. got on the pond at 6:05 am with wayne joining me at 6:40 am. slow start as i had caught a couple of little ones 7 or 8 inches. wayne went without a hit for over and hour and then his rods came alive and caught several nice brookies one 15 inches. i was getting thme on the bobber but smaller then my bottom rod rigged had a super run and fish on and a good one . the reel on this rod retreive is only 4.3 i beleive and fish handled me easily lost it in a fight for his life 3 feet from shore. a nice big brookie estimated at 17 inches or so. wayne and i ended up with over 20 brookies and at least 15 nice bullhead. ugh. wayne weighed his brookie in at willsboro outdoor world at 15 inches and 1.37lbs. nice brookie wayne. wayne was jumping wiht joy when he landed it said its the biggest brookie he has ever caught.photo sharecertificity.com
