Down south today After yesterdays blow. Very little in the flea world today. Fished from the south Edge of the deep water up to the palisades. Not much going on just a few lakers, the salmon have likely blown north or are waiting fo the water to reset.

We made the trip down there today and found the Lakers in hungry mode all over the place. The bigger the spoon, the bigger the fish . 25- 50 down. I can confirm that as well. We fished the converse area as well yesterday. Lots of lakers down 25-40 ft on your typical salmon spoons and dodger fly. Apple island dock is in place !

Update this AM. The apple island ramp has less than 50 yds of rotten ice that should break up on contact . Beyond that everything is wide open, Keelers as well.

Yeah in fact the whole sea froze over again a day ago but has since blown open again. You might be able to launch at the Keelers bay acccess this time of year but no dock.

Keelers open out to Kellogg . Outer Mallets wide open. A good deal of the sea is open but a lot of ice out in front of the sandbar area. One more day out the south and we should be about clear all over

When buying new I’ve been going to Optima. Expensive but they are long lived and hold a charge for months without trickle . Don’t know about lith ion for boats. Didn’t know there was such a thing.
