I instaled an i troll last year on my boat and I'm very satisfied. With the i pilot up front it's the best combo, better than the auto pilot I had.

Wow great report, that's how a fishing trip should always be. Being able to release that walleye after coming up 50' is great.

We fly fish for them in Quebec. Best time up here is end of june. They're shallow and easy to spot. We use a split ring and three pieces of wool (8' long). Thank you for the detailed info Keith. I also use the no. 1 regular slide diver (lite bite). It works well for me when the temp brake is maximum 35 to 40 feet down, it's hard to get it deeper with the 30 pound mono I have on my reel.

Great report and beautiful fish. I 'm wondering what is your setup for lakers. I always use cowbell rigs and it definitely kills the fight.

About half hour drive south there's Willsboro Outdoor World, ask for Jim Hotaling. There are all tackles and advices needed to fish Lake Champlain. Good luck.
