This serves two just up the amount for more.
1- 4 qt saucepan and lid
1 - Propane burner or fire ashore
1- 2 Lb bag of farmed mussels sorted washed and debearded.
12 large frozen shrimp thawed & peeled
1/3 ring of kelbasa sausage cut into 1 inch slices browned in the oven.
1/2 medium sweet onion diced
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1/2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
1 can of ROTEL brand diced tomatoes with chillies
1 Baguette bread cut into pieces.
all this can be prepared at home before.
Dump the first 8 into the pot. Bring to a boil and steam for about 8 minutes or until the mussels open. Stir the pot and serve in bowls with the juice. dip your bread and enjoy. Serve with a nice white wine . Not much better !
