Made a quick afternoon run yesterday with light@variable to Converse. Found the dock was gone! We got in around 1:30 or so, saw Thorny comeing in with his crew. We stopped at Supercabs and said hello and met with Jeremy [Fathead]. We got set up around 2:00 trolled for a bit before haveing to go back to the launch to pick up "Easely Amused'' and Chris. Got back out and played around picket and ceder point off at 4:00 or so. Will be trying again this morning. Landed 2 lakers and 1 salmon and we had our share of short hits. The salmon [small] spit up this smelt about 2 3/4" to 3".
The wind seemed to lay down a bit.

Re: Quick run..
Docks were still in at Port Douglas on Thursday but I would say they won't be in much longer. This is the latest I can remember them being in.
Salmon, the other pink meat.
