Monday Morning at Whalons

Post by Heijac »

On the water at first light solo. South wind was already coming up pretty strong as I headed across, severely limited where I could try! Not a whole lot of activity, never did find any good bait balls. Covered Whalons pretty thoroughly, picked up a couple of small lakers, and my first silver since July, but it was just shy of making it into the smoker. Did one pass down to Cannon, hit a couple of ciscos. and again, no schooled up bait. Dropped a couple of fish back in Whalons, and packed it in at noon. Lakers all hit green, 25 down, silver came on a copcar cheater, rigger at 35. Hope to get back out wednesday!

Thanks for the report. Seems like we're on the verge, huh? Good luck midweek.
