Fishing today on St-Lawrence River

Post by Waleye »

Beautiful windy day on the St. Lawrence today with winds of 20 miles per hour south west. The walleye was in the appointment. Several nice catches between 4 and 6.5 pounds. All caught trolling with Rapala Tale Dancer or ReefRunner.

A beautiful day with Jean-Francois (Ti Bob)

Felicitations les gars.

It was so windy today I did not think people will actually go fishing. Looks like I was wrong and you have nice catches to prove it.
Great walleye and bass pics.

You guys have an outstanding September / October fishery and I am sure the other 10 months there. Great option to fish for you folks while waiting for November here.

That is some quality!

It's great to see what 40 years of pollution control can do for a fishery. Obviously, it's not a perfect world, but the proof is on the hook.
Very nice Eyes and bass. You guys have surprised the heck out of me. I never thought there were any fish in the St. L. because of all the activity.
Thanks for the reports.

Wastewater from the city of Montreal passes through a water treatment plant and is discharged into the river with almost no impureties.
When there are big storms it is possible that some of the water should not be treated
The river is much improved and it will be getting better and better.
