Launched the Whaler at Colchester (docks are still aground) and run to the IS in the morning, trolling Eagle Mtn and Keeler Bay for salmon without any luck, dragging streamers and pins minnows @ 2.5mph.
Came back to the Winooski delta in the afternoon. Still a lot of floating debris, lures got fouled in a matter of minutes. Got 2 lakers (22" and 26") on spoons (nothing fancy, 2" hammered silver/copper Williams with a 1/2oz. keel weight 4ft. forward, on spinning outfits) @ 1.6mph in 8 FOW, right in front of the bridge.
Not much traffic, 4-5 boats max. at each spot.

Re: 5/8 Whaler shakedown
Thanks for the report Saumon.
That laker has a nastly lamprey wound.
