5/6 afternoon run
5/6 afternoon run
Took my buddy Victor from work out after silvers on tuesday afternoon. Little tough fishing with a stiff NW breeze. But we managed to dial in a few fish holding tight to one little spot. Once I got Victor to stop ripping the lips off them, he did manage to boat a couple! The green and yellow Bass Pro minnow was hot again, 6 of our 8 bites were on it.....

Thats ok! We were out in front of Thorpe Brook, water temps on that south shore were 49-50 degrees. But the picture is just off the dock at Converse, just before I cleaned the fish!

Way to go Randy! Are you using the 2" (smallest) or 3" (medium) BPS minnows? If the small ones, have you replaced the hooks?
Re: 5/6 afternoon run
Scott,
I am using the 2" ones, and yes, I have had to replace a couple of hooks. Actually shopping for some online tonight!

Thanks Randy. I swapped a few to smaller singles, but I haven't yet seen how they track and swim. Are you sticking with trebles?

Don't be fooled. They caught them with worms off the Converse dock.
Nice going Randy!

Come on Raz ... Everyone knows that worms only work for silvers on the NY side of the Lake!Raz wrote:Don't be fooled. They caught them with worms off the Converse dock.![]()
