Went out with the wife for the first time this year in the inland sea yesterday. We got on the lake a little after 2 PM. It was choppy with that little 15 footer. Got out of the wind and started trolling with stick bait. Caught 6 of 7 all salmon in 2h30. She had fun so did I seeing here catch fish with the rod I won at the winter workshop in Burlington. I got the 4-8 lbs, 7.6 feet Vance's tackle rod, really light and you feel the fish. I put a daiwa sealine 27 h on it. Great little kit. Can't wait to get a couple day to give it another shot.
Hope you guys have fun
Fred

Re: Inland sea report
Sounds like a good trip. How big were the salmon? Was there any docks yet? The inland sea sounds very promising this spring. Thanks for the report.

Re: Inland sea report
The fish were off the top. My wife was using the yozuri black and silver rapala 110 pulls back. I had a white and black custom lure 90 pull back with a split shot to have it sink a little. I was trolling between 15-25 fow around 2.4 mph on the GPS. Because we had the 16 ft jonboat i launched out of keeler bay.
