Post by flyguy »

Hey, I got an Ipad from my wife. Does anyone know of a good app for fishing charts/GPS/ whatever?

For $54 it' a deal! Get the US Navionics + you won't regret.

Many members on the forum are using the iPhone and the iPad app. For my part I use the Nav+ iPad app

I said I got an Ipad for my wife...good swap, eh? Really, I did get her an ipad, and she gave me the old one. Thanks for the tip, Andre, I'll look into getting the Nav +

I have the Navionics app on my iPad too.

Make sure your IPad has 3G or 4G option.
The iPad with only Wi-Fi don't have the GPS module so the Navionics app will not work.

It will work if it is not Wi-Fi with the GPS module from Bad Elf below.

All iPads have Wi-Fi, but not all have 3g/4g

The gps module from Bad Elf seems to be a nice feature.
