I hope you de-teethed that monster. Dogs and children won't be safe in the water if you didn't.
Nice job!

That's a nice pike!

Was that from this weekend?

Here is a friend I took out on Sunday. Plenty of these guys to be caught!

Man - O - Man.... Beautiful job. That fish could really dent up a small child playing in the water. Is that report soon to come? Mandatory evacuations of all pike 40" or more to ECHO before next swim season starts.

Hell yeah! Gold spinnerbaits have been working for me and I've been getting a ton but nothing that nice yet...Tomorrow is another day though so we'll see. I've been getting them in the same depth range and on the same cover but thanks for sharing all the info. Def gonna give the husky jerk a try. It's been a ton of fun because I can tell my kids to watch their bait for that HUGE silver flash just before they almost get the pole yanked out of their hands...I love Oct. on Champlain.
For some people it's "one more drink" or "one more bet" for me the lie is "just one more cast" :)

What a monster.
I think that's the biggest fish I've seem come from Champlain.
Congrats on a true trophy!

(I might have to take up Pike fishin'!)

Thanks again everyone.

I did talk today to a friend who fishes the same area for pike. The bite is still strong.

He was also using 6 inch stick baits shallow...

Hope to see you out there!!
