Big Fat Football Monster PIG Ginormous Browns

I found this pic of these three big Browns over on LOU and couldn't help but put the pic up here.
These three fish had a combined weight of 49.10 pounds...that's like better than 16-1/4 pounds average each! Simply amazing!

Raz those are some pretty impressive Browns!!! I have been fishing out of Oswego for 20 plus years and have caught some awesome Browns but never 3 of that size!!! Thanks for posting!! Sleeps

My goodness, could you just imagine tying into a monster like that here in Champlain ? I fished Ontario a lot a bunch of years ago but never got a big brown. Gotta add that to the bucket list I guess.
Pretty impressive fish though !

Nice browns. My biggest landed out of the Ontario system is about 16. I have had a couple shake off at the boat and one right near the bank that were pushing 20.

You're probably right...on my screen the coloration and head shape looks just like a Salmon, but I guess the mouth and eyes look like a Brown, along with the number of spots.

Gerry, End of summer when things slow down on Champlain the Brown trout bite heats up again on lake "O". You should give it a try. Of course May is also good, but it's hard to stop fishing when the sun goes down and the Giant Walleyes start rolling in to feed!!! I get SOOOOOO tired! Hehe.....

Need to know myself...I'm gonna get there one way or another this spring!

Stickbaits, rattling rougues

chrome/blue, chrome/black, clown and the 1st 2 with an orange belly. Fire tiger as well. Rappalas and thundersticks also work. The tackle shops in Pulaski are well stocked with brown trout baits in the spring. Goby pattern is also a good one.

Don't forget some in line planner boards - I use the church tx-6 mini mags. They are small and pull real easy.
