Fished the inland sea out of apple point yesterday. Not sure where to fish. Can anyone tell me where the Cowbanks and Ladd point are? We marked some baitfish and a few fish(lakers ?) on bottom but no salmon. Any suggestions? We marked most fish in the 70-85 foot range, very few in deeper water.Any help would be appreciated. Tom

If you take a left out of the launch and head north up the shore of south hero that 1st 1/2 mile or so is the cow banks.. If you go north about 3-4 miles and get to where the gut cuts into the broad lake the point you go around before the draw dridge is Ladd Point. In the Inland Sea, depending on wind and current anything over 80fow right now may hold salmon. Bite varies a lot from day to day.. If you are in the right spot(s) you will see some bait balls and also some predator fish around them on your graph. Last time out, we saw balls of bait that went from 35 feet to 85 feet down over 110fow. That is where the bite was that day. Also, check the deepest water between the cow banks Cedar Island and the bridge. There is a gradual deep hole that goes to about 120fow that hold fish when most areas are barren....

Good luck!
