FOR THE LOVE OF DAIWA

Post by FISHCRAZY(LALLY) »

Well, I have been a little busy with hunting season and ramping up for the 2012 work season, but I thought I would share this with Ya. Those who fish with me know my Love affair with Daiwa equipment and it seems the fine folks in the marketing department decided to show me some love and put my ugly mug in the 2012 master catalog!!!

All I can say is that it's a good thing there is a monsterous walleye in the foreground to distrack everyone attention. LOL :o

Congrats Rick and well deserved.

I'm gonna test Um out for you if that's what you mean???!!! They really are all you need for many of the fresh water applications we encounter. Reel holds 175 yards of 8 lb mono or 300 yards of 20lbs braid. I like scaling down my equipment if and when I can. These are going to be perfect for my Braided line set-ups I use for night fishing walleye. They will also work good for the slide diver set up's I have as well.

More toys :D :D :D :D :D Gotta love it!!!!

Every man's dream. More Toys. Gotta love it. Congrats on the notoriety. Good for you and great for the lake. It looks pricey, but if mother doesn't find out.....

They are a little pricier for sure. I'm a HUGE fan of the Sealine series line counter reels. I use the 17's mostly and they hold a ton of line for a little real. I prefer the Saltist 20 for my Dipsey's and Slide divers though , because they have their ultimate carbon "wet" drag and more importantly the star drag is a "positive click" adjust. That means when the line is "Leaking out" I just add a click at a time till she stops ;)

Sealine 17's MSRP is $99.95. These new little gems are $164.95. I only need four so it won't be THAT bad!!! LOL!!!
