The question is how did the fishing trip go?

I wasn't going to go back out till the Shoot Out but the weather so nice and a few caught Friday I met a Shoot Out like full launch at 6:30 am this Sunday morning. By the time I launched an set up with Fish Dawg aboard it was 7:15 am and we picked up at 11:45 am with dozen bites and two white perch and a 13" salmon. It was slow to say the least. Huge line of boats at noon to launch and equal amount coming in to get off the lake. I am reminded what weekends are like at Converse. It was nice to catch up with Stephen as it's been a couple years since we fished. Cool hearing about all his stream adventures and we called Shoot Out winner Tom Durbrow to get the scoop on Willoughby and Bomoseen. Certainly a Lake Ontario hangover our weekend Champlain boat ride in September!
