Had Dave F and Shawn C aboard yesterday in the inland sea. Launched at 1st light in super calm waters with barely a ripple in the lake.

Setup 6 long lines with a mix of lead core in the otter boards. Air temps were 40, water was 40.
As the sun started to show up the salmon woke up and began to play. They fired 1 at a time, 2 at a time and even had 3 on out of 6 rods at one point. The bite from 7am till 830am was crazy nd we landed 10!salmon in that period without sitting down doing circles in the pod of fish.

Saw quite a few Canadians out today, seems like they have located the bite:) I was wondering how long it would take to fill this area up with Princecrafts:)

Wind never picked up and after the bite calmed mid morning we did some prospecting. Lots of bird action but no much salmon action on other locations…

We only had time to bbq one course today. It was a marinated pork tenderloins that was very juicy once done…

The best bait today was a UV rapala h8 husky jerk in pink white and yellow. Not a pattern I have used in the past but that little bait worked it ass off landing 6+ salmon itself.

Having the counter climb into double didgets before 830am was a good start. Can’t wait to get back out and do it again.

Fish on!

Thanks for the invite, Matt! That first 2hrs was busy! Last night I cooked up the venison you guys missed out on. MM-MM Good. Maybe we'll try it next time.
