Greetings fishermen, and women.

As previously posted, we have selected 5/18/24 for the 2024 Lake Champlain United Draw Your Partner derby.

Please signup in one of 3 ways so we can hold the drawing 2 weeks prior to 5/18 and announce teams..

1- With boat (will be matched randomly with a "no boat person"
2- No Boat (Will be matched randomly with a "with boat" person.
3- Family (one adult and one child under 16 years old.)

Rules: Fish within confines of Like Champlain.
Starts at 1st light on 5/18, or blow date 5/19.
Biggest salmon/rainbow/brown trout by weight on a common scale wins.
4 rod Max - only 2 people on boat in derby can handle rods&fish... (incase a whole family is on boat;)
NO entry fee, MUST signup Prior to 5/4/24....
Weigh in starts at 1pm at Converse Launch. Winners need to be present at 1pm.

Please bring a BBQ or picnic item to share with the fleet after the awards!

Signed up as a family boat.

After only 3 days we have 8 boats signed up!! We currently have many more boats than "no Boat" entries...

All you have to do to fish with no boat is...............

----- Sign up as no boat, show up to converse launch on May 18th @ 1st light and bring something for the BBQ after.

This is your chance to get off the couch and feel the pull with an experienced troller..... The people you will meet can become friends for life!!

I had an amazing time last year, was super excited to get a text from Joe reminding me about the tourny!

I signed up myself, my wife is also interested! We can be on one boat, or we can be split up if needed.

Will definitely be bringing the camera again had SO MUCH fun filming / editing the day. Thanks again Jack & Liam!

Hey guys, I just signed up the Country Angler to compete in the family division. No Brody, No Liam this year. Liam's got a baseball game, and Brody's got fire department, or track, or prom committee, or work, or who knows what. Gonna have to call up somebody from the second litter to compete this year. Maybe Tess, Ozzy, or Mary. I did hear that Tess is joining the Vergennes Fishing Team this year though, so I'm psyched about that. Can't wait to see all you guys it's been too long.

I wonder what's going to be cooking on Homewrecker's boat this year. Maybe a squirrel? possum? or a snake?

Wish I could join in on the fun but, not sure if I will be back to work or not. Have doctors on the 13th of may to see if I get released for work an if I do I'm headed back into a shutdown 12hr days/ 7 days aweek. So I can't commit which I hate. I miss out on this every year due to work. So tight lines an good luck to all fishing it.
