Hey all. First post. I have a deep v targa 19se. Older boat. Considering the age, not a lot of storage options while boat is rolling for my rods. What are you all doing to keep things organized…9 rods can be crazy.

Thanks,
Moe

you can go with putting a rod rack/radar arch style rack on,oceans south makes a fairly inexpensive one that is made to easily fold down for trailering or to get it in the garage, you can get boom mount rod holders for your cannon riggers or for your boat, probably the best setup would be to put tracks down on the gunwales and either go with vertical or horizontal trees or just individual rod holders.maybe some one can post up some pictures of their setups.

I’ve got tubes on the gunwales, and I could use my riggers….never really thought that would work very well, but worth a go. I’m interested in an arch with tubes, I wonder if they make versions for a targa….hmmmm. Pic from lake ontario united forum.

there ya go,but anything "custom made or fitted "for your specific boat, is going to be very pricey.the oceans south one i had on my boat is a universal fit,you can cut the tubes to fit many different style and size boats and i think it was 150 bucks.its somewhat flimsy, but is still in use many years later.

If you have money to spend check out Fine Tuned Welding. Don't own any of their stuff but wish I could.

Rod trees work well and can be an easy solution until you figure them out......

Not sure if you have a splash well, but I just have PVC tubes across the splash well for holding rods. They work great and the rods are vertical so there is no chance of them slipping out when under power.
