Excellent unit.

Hey guys side question on lowrance . My HDS Gen 2 is in need of a software upgrade. At least twice I have tried to load updates and got no where . Is there anyone locally that could check this out ? Seems simple but I’ve failed twice and others are scratching their heads as well… Tx for any help

1st: you need a card of 32gig or less, format FAT32, there is 2 gen2 one with button and the other one is a touch so be sure to download the correct one. Donload from pc to the card and insert the card in the reader and power on and let it go till it’s finish,don’t touch it until it reboot completely.

Tx will try again when the boat is again powered up
