PLine Florocarbon problem

Post by Speedy »

Any of you guys have had any problems with PLine Florocarbon line "Twisting and Pig-Tailing"? I have installed as leaders and also full spools of 10lb and 12 lb test on spinning and bait caster reels. As soon as I let it out it springs back around the tip top guide on all my poles. Also even in mid-air/mid-line doubles up in bows and wraps and twists. I have even tried letting out a few hundred feet in the sun for a few hours also...no improvement. It is also a SOB trying to tie little knots with old eyes with glasses. I'm considering stripping all off and putting on mono.

What say the Court?
Thanks,
"Speedy"

Have you tried soaking the spool in hot water? I don’t know but I’ve heard that helps sometime.

It'll be interesting to see others feed back.
I've only used Pline while ice fishing and I've only used fluorocarbon as a leader.
Catch and serve with lemon.
