Westport Report 6/10-6-11
Fished Saturday with my wife and daughter first 2 hours very slow once my daughter woke from her nap in the cuddy rods started to fire.Caught and released 5-6 silvers,no real braggers, another 6 lakers with 1 slob, first Champlain brown boated, then while making final turn rigger fires and my daughter boated a beautiful steelhead to complete the slam.Woud up being a memorable day.All fish were on riggers a mix of spoons with db smelts on sliders doing a lot of damage. Also a small warrior spoon purple with black dots, silver back was hot.Fished Sunday with Bearcat in same area and action was very slow boated 1 silver and 2-3 lakers.Be back in a few weeks

Sounds like a perfect trip! Congrats! Guess I'm going to have to hit Kittery Trading Post this summer and stock up on DB Smelt. Anyone sell them locally?

Can't beat a grand slam on a beautiful sunny day ! Nice that your daughter hauled in that steelhead to cap it off, congrats to you all !
