6/11 on the water

Post by cpmaple »

Fished out of port Henry my normal spot to launch an headed north. The plan was 4 riggers an 2 mini big John dipsy. Got the two dipsy out an three riggers out an fish on silver in the air. Made another loop nothing headed different course fish on dipsy an lost it. Continue course fish in the air an landed another silver. Ended up going 5-6 on the salmon my daughter an son in law wanted two for there dinner table so two out five went home. I'm glad they finally got to land salmon while we were out trolling. Fished from 9am-1pm

What was the water temp, and did you have to go far to get into them?

Water temp at surface was 63 an held 51 at 60 down but I wasn't fishing that deep just checking temp. Fished the up 30ft fished Coles then trolled back to launch an got fish the whole way back. Most fish came from the 15-22ft area 53-55degree water.
