We just returned from our annual buzzards bay black sea bass trip to fill the freezer with the fish many describe as a culinary masterpiece. As usual it was either rough as hell or flat calm and the fish where biting no matter what with daily limits being hauled back on the warthog for 5 days. If you ever get the chance to try it, go!
Some key things to know are the wind turns on and off like a light switch and you can find yourself in some rough stuff quick.
If you bring kids and just want to get fish in the boat use some high low rigs with crab, squid or clams but if you want the bigger keeper size black sea bass go with a bucktail jig with a gulp or z man grub on the hook and buy alot of them cuz they get torn up. Tight lines
