Hey Guys,

Got a nice pair of lightly used Scotty Propak Downriggers. Working on where/how to mount them. The gunnels on my Crestliner are too narrow to accept the standard mounting plate. They make a mounting plate that would go on the side of the gunnel, I am just unsure of the strength of that application. Anyone face this ? Has anyone used these side mounting plates ?
Considering if I should use gimbal mounts like I have on my Big Jon's........

You can mount them on these. Cannon Aluminum Fixed Base Pedestal Mount. The base should fit on the gunnels. Scotty plates can mount to the top. They are different heights too. You can mount them direct or use a track system.
