April skinny water salmon

Post by Reelax »

Fished with 2 Dave’s yesterday. Found salmon in the shallows hungry for small sticks. Best color of day for us was purple and silver. Lots
Of action between 8am and 11am, fish were
Jumping and many had lamprey on them.
One fish had 3 lamprey on it just before it
Hit the net. They were all around 6” long.

Good
Time talking to Jeremy and SeaBill on radio. Day was so calm it looked the like boat wasn’t moving at times.

Water temps 36 deg and actions was best near water inflows.

Back again Sat:)

Fish on!

Hey Matt,

Love the shot showing the Fish Hawk using the Ram mount...........new unit is in box sitting at home and I have been thinking about how/where I will mount it, may be similar to what I need to do.....which size ball/length is that ?

Thanks, John

It is a “b” size Ram Mount. 1” ball…

Use a c size on my 9” simrad. Good solid mounts.

Inspirational!
I did well in the kayak today, pulling a jointed Rapala and a small Shad Rap.
