Islamarada fishing update.

Post by Reelax »

Flew down to Florida this week to find some warm water salty action. Started today with Singing reel charters out of Islamarada. Headed out of whale harbour marina at 3pm for an evening shark and tarpon bite…… early in season for tarpon, but the sharks are active:)

Don’t have to anchor far from marina to find sharks hungry for chum and Bonita heads in the current;)

Headed to key west tomorrow, but have an inshore trip booked in islamarada for Thursday… so more
To come… I hope.

Fish on!!!!

All nurse sharks? The hammers are usually running with the tarpon! Maybe too early.... Good pulls!

Great to see you enjoying fishing the keys. If the tarpon are around, they can be real fun. I have hooked up with several over the years, but never got one to the boat. Good Luck!
