for two years in a row we have been able to start off the new year with a troll on the big pond.had to wait till afternoon to let the lake settle down a littlebut was able to get out in the afternoon for a couple hours.had to pound our way over to be able to hide behind the highrocks to get setup and wait for the lake to really settle down,made two passes from the rocks to the buoy line and bye the end of the second pass we were around 20 fish boated,all fish were small,in the 15-17" range.we decided to trailer out to bear creek on monday to see if we could find better quality fish,well we did find a few,but it was a very slow pick only winding up 4/7.looks like more fishing days ahead with the warm forecast for the next 10-14 days!!!!!

With record high water temp in Lake Champlain looks like we will also fish in boats all winter.

possibly matt,ive been leaving the boat out in mexico with the warm weather,but im planning on bringing her back home in the next couple weeks,so then maybe a trip to champ,try to get in on some of the good fishing you guys have going on there!!!!!
