Wilsboro Bay

Post by Play'n Hookey »

Fished the Bay today and boated six lakers and one small salmon . The salmon was only 14 inches but I won't complain because it is the first one I've boated in a year and 1/2 . The lakers are running small as well 14 thru 21 inches but made for a good season finisher . We caught them from 110 down at 48 deg. up to 50 ft. at 59 deg. . Some caught on a black Diver ,silver dodger and Orange Crush stinger others on the riggers w/CI Blue moon and silver dodger as well as a CI Sausage Gravy Milkshake behind cowbells . Made for a great season closer ,time to winterize the Tropy and start stalking whitetails .

One of the nicest days on the water this year,no fleas and very few sail boats . We got back at the launch around 1:30 just before the north winds started ramping up . Have a great fall Matt ! Dan S
