Nice morning, near flat water. Tried jigging lakers not far from launch. Not much going on so headed to flats south of Charlotte ferry. Not much there either. Two others fishing nearby swung over. They caught a couple across from Split Rock, but nothing where we were. They headed north, I went south. Had seen some marks here and there 50 ft or so. So set up 2 rods dropped 75 ft to where temp was around 55 degrees. Hooked a cheater with Blue Moon spoon on. Got down toward Diamond and decided to call it. Bringing in line with cheater when I felt some pull back. Nice, clean 2O inch salmon.
Took fish from live well and there were several tiny alewife looking remains spit up and floating around.

I picked up a few 20” silvers in that same area the last couple of times out.
