Heavy rain started yesterday evening.
Getting ready for strong winds and lots of rain from Ian till Monday.
Shouldn't be as bad as Floriday or South Carolina. That's a terrible disaster they are going through.

Tomorrow should be the end of the pouring rain and heavy winds.
Finger pier was under water for almost 2 days.

Tuesday, we had some nice calm warm weather, it was great to be back on the water.
Biting starting to pick up when well-coordinated with tide.
During our 3-hour fishing window, we managed 6 keepers, biggest one measured 20"

I went solo Sunday for about 3 hours. Only one bite, a 18" flounder.
We haven't had clear water since almost one week now, mostly due to wind and some rain. Since flounders are sight feeder, they are not biting. Need to wait for water to clear before catching them again.

Fishing salt water is over this year. Boat is now in storage.
It's time to head back North of the border.

Managed one more fishing trip before returning home.
We caught a few tautogs and an octopus, pretty rare here. Released safely.
