Fair Haven Week
Spending the week with friends in Fair Haven. We spent good times on the water and got some nice catches. Last 2 days were too windy. Hope for wind to calm a bit Friday.

Re: Fair Haven Week
Today was a tough day on the water. Launched at 7:30, out of the water around 5:30. Big waves and pretty rough morning we had to come back in the bay for a while to recuperate. The afternoon was better but still cool air and bouncy water. Bite was almost nonexistent, we managed to boat 2 browns. Heading back home tomorrow morning.

Re: Fair Haven Week
Fished Sunday managed 5 small browns all coming on on downriggers 12-18 ft down in 20-30 fow. Small speedy shiner perch color boated 3 and blue/silver stinger got the other 2. Had 1 hit on a perch yozuri on boards but broke that one off on hook set must have had a nick in line somewhere?? Water temp was 47 degrees saw 48.5 near some of the mouths of rivers. Everything checked out ok and ready for some spring derby action!! Again good luck to all!!

Fished Friday and Sunday in the LOC out of Mexico. The fishing has been excellent!! Many boats limiting out on Browns, but nothing to weigh in yet. Also picked up a couple Atlantics. Kings are in the area as well, only weighed 15,13 lbs. those spring kings are a blast!! 15 lber helped us bring in 3 other lines . Best spring fishing in years. Heading back Thursday to get on the leader board.
