Back in the saddle again.....

Fished Monday with DA after reading all the reports of great fishing and weather on the lake. It was time to give the woods a rest and get a change of scenery....
We launched from Converse at 830am after meeting Crazy Ivan at the dock for a quick spoon infusion to help our set....![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
We setup a 4 down digger spread with fixed cheaters and started getting slimy right off... after getting an early call of CI striking silver right off the bat we started to wonder where our jumpers were?? 20,30,40,50,60,70,80 foot down and all mud chickens......
The small ones under 12β can have colors almost as pretty as brook trout, so we started calling the little ones Brookies....
After changing locations slightly, we found more Lakers, some big, some small..
After a few miles we picked and ran south and within a few min Dave was on to a good fish...
Tunes were blaring and the battle was on....we shot a raw video of the end of the fight... after a nice leap at the end a nice 23β silver was finally in the Box. Funny thing is with our new spread of lures out it was a single mottled green MP6 that got our silver rush started!!!
We dined on venison burgers 2* during the day to keep the hunger away and the lake never had more than a ripple all day... it took dropping our set to over 100ft to get the 1st silver to Play... most of the bait was down there also...
After a few passes by Todd and Molly....some where we were too busy to even waive, they decided to run back north for a few passes on a spot. We stayed and found silver again and with NOT a boat in sight had a wonderful time just doing circles on fresh marks....
Canβt wait for the next trip...
