The Westport boat launch is scheduled to close on September 8 for “up to two months” for dredging.

I really wish VT gets to dredging accesses soon!
We have so many that are getting stupid shallow.

Looks like Willsboro is the next one, unless there is one in Essex.

I tried to get Vermont to do some dredging but thats not going to happen any time soon.

Dredging is done, launch is open again though the docks are out. Kind of a waste of time, they only went out about 30 or 40 yards and barely dug the sides out at all. I was told the Army Corps of Engineers said that’s all they were allowing. Definitely better than it was and should be fine for most of the season but there will still be some low water issues there during times like this. And Governor Cuomo will still not allow anybody to use the outhouse.
