there is a really interesting Lake Champlain level graph that the weather service has on their website... tracking current lake level and historic records... lake level right now is a little below average (97.5' for today) but 2019 was unusually high. If I remember correctly, even though 2019 didn't hit the highest-ever lake level, it set a record for longest time the lake was above flood level, and was a few feet above normal in May and June.

here's the link: https://www.weather.gov/btv/lakeLevel?year=2020

We could use more
Water in the lake but I wish Burlington would
Leave the finless browns out of the flow...

Now isn't that the truth. Took the kid to Oakledge and the plume was evident, we stayed upland

I noticed the swamps of East Slang looked a little low last weekend and the vegetation was taking over.

Wish that launch they'd put in a floating dock, it's a hard one to deal with going solo with prevailing winds pushing the hull right back up on the concrete...ugh!

Yes indeed, and with westerly prevailing winds at both Vantine's & Van Everest you'd think they'd understand this is important enough to put docks in.
