You and I have a different perspective on "Yellow"!! I must be color blind.. which could explain a lot!

But a 130 'hoo resolves any issues! Good luck this season!

That was a great catch... happened in 2014, remembered as if yesterday.
Next Monday starts the While Marlin Open with big money prices.
I don't think I'll be entering the tournament but may wet some rods on the Longfin.
Will try to post some pics of the tourney.

Good luck Gerry, hope the crew has a successful derby. Missing being down this year, maybe next. Please keep us posted how it goes..... They deserve to win.

Thanks Matt. Wish you were here. Enjoy your vacation.
Lots of boats arriving now in Ocean City for the White Marlin Open starting Monday.
Michael Jordan is here with his little 80' boat "Catch 23".
Will try to get some pics.

Sorry I did not post earlier.
the 46th White Marlin Open turned out to be the biggest, with 404 boats registered, over 3500 anglers, and $6,186,870 in prize money.
It is the biggest fishing tournament in the world.
I am very fortunate it is happening in my backyard.
1459 white marlin caught with 1429 released. Winning fish weighed 79.5 lbs. worth $1,504,720, second biggest winner was 73.5 lbs. worth $1,502,450
47 blue marlin caught, 46 were released. Winning fish at 46535 lbs. for $962,165
13 sailfish released.

The Longfin did not get into any prize money but still had a great time with some white marlin caught.

There were some great boats participating this year. The most memorable was Michael Jordan's "Catch 23". I parked next to it but was not able to get his autograph.

I have a few rods on my boat, and it's more fuel efficient then Michael's. I don't think he cared.

Lot's of traffic entering the inlet, and boats had to wait for the bridge to open to go back to marina.
