Hooked into several species today
Hooked into several species today
Went trolling last night from 6 until dark south of Westport (Arnold’s bay), and only hooked 1 brown trout and released a small salmon. Trolled after dark for walleyes with no success.
Set out trolling this morning and landed 2 brown trout, 1 sad looking laker that had 2 lamphreys on it and ate into the rib cage, and lost 2 big salmon at the boat... uggg! And caught a 5lb. Small mouth at 65 fow.
After the rain took a break, we went pan fishing and caught 5 huge small mouths, and some yellow perch. Went trolling for half hour before and only caught white perch.
Still a successful fishing day except the loss of 1 cannon ball and 2 nice spoons...thank goodness the fish hawk was on the other rigger!
The 4 inch brown trout pattern spoon was the hit of the day.

Thx so much for posting my pic! Maybe you can help me to post our pics?
Re: Hooked into several species today
Pretty simple now that we can attach without having to use a photo sharing site. I only use my phone or tablet. I can p.m. my phone number to you , call me on a land line or different phone that you have some pictures in. I'll be more available later or tomorrow.Sawyer wrote:Thx so much for posting my pic! Testing the pic thing. Copy/Paste? Hmmm
Re: Hooked into several species today
Click attachment's, add files, then choose gallery, or Verizon media or whatever else for a folder you have pics. Then click the pic you want. It may say"DONE" at the top of your photo page, click that. That's it. Repeat for every pic, not that hard. No pasting or coppying.
I just looked again, there is a dialog box that pops up, says choose action, click files, it has a down arrow. Very easy and fairly fast once you do it a few times.

My pleasure Traci and Don, I hope everyone does their pictures this way. One thing I should remind people of, is you cannot attach directly from a text message pic. You need to save it to your gallery first or if your phone or tablet data come s from Verizon, save to VZ Media.
